Save on Gas
Save on gas starting right now with these proven tips: 1. It is a fact that all service stations have their storage tanks below ground. Since the colder the ground, the more dense the fuel, only buy or fill up your vehicle in the early morning when the ground temperature is still cold. Otherwise as the temperature rises, the gasoline will expand and you will actually get less fuel for your hard earned money. Even a small change in the temperature can effect the volume. 2. Only pump on slow mode. That way, you will minimize the vapors created while you are pumping. On fast mode, you are actually losing some of the liquid you are pumping as vapors which are then returned to the underground tank. 3. Always fill up when your tank is half empty. This will prevent the gasoline in your tank from evaporating, as less air is occupying empty space. 4. Never fill up if there is a fuel truck pumping into the storage tanks. Otherwise, you might pick up some of the dirt that normally settles on the bottom as it is stirred up by the newly deposited gasoline. There are of course, other ways to save money on gas. One, which will not be covered fully here is to get a

which pays you 5% back for everything you pay at the pump. Compressed Natural Gas is a very inexpensive alternative, but only if you live in an area where they have filling stations. Currently, California, Utah, Wyoming and New York state offer them. The cost to convert your car to this fuel type will run into the thousands, but at $.63 per gallon, it might well be worth it. Another less expensive do-it-yourself option is to
convert your car or truck to a water-burning vehicle (Water Hybrid)
